In addition to the annual vacation, the Employment Contracts Act regulates also other types of vacations. The employment relationship parties are recommended to enter also other vacations that the employee wishes to use during the year (apart from the annual vacation) into the schedule. In this case, the employee can use vacation according to the schedule. When the leave has not been added to the vacations’ schedule, the employee must notify the employer at least 14 calendar days in advance, in a written and reproducible form. The different types of vacations, as prescribed in the Employment Contracts Act, are explained hereinafter.
