The Labour Inspectorate is a government agency operating in the area of government of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, which exercises state supervision and applies state enforcement on the bases and to the extent prescribed by law. Its main tasks include implementing occupational health and safety policies, conducting state supervision over compliance with occupational health, safety, and employment relationship regulations, informing the public, employees, and employers about workplace hazards, and resolving labor disputes in pre-court labor dispute bodies.
